The Ptarmigans were issued in 1962 as a limited edition of 350 pair. The edition was closed in 1968. The sculpture shows a male and female on individual bases of snow covered rocks. A third piece molded as a smaller rock is used to join the sculptures together as a center piece. Male 14" High, Female 9 1/2" High
